We are currently seeking an experienced Executive Vice President of Construction who desires an exciting and challenging environment. The EVP will be responsible for all construction, preconstruction, and business development operations.

Role

This individual will provide leadership for a growing General Contractor Organization. The position will report directly to the President and will be responsible for planning, organizing and directing all activities to achieve or exceed profitability targets, operational efficiencies, and corporate objectives. This position will be responsible for maintaining excellent client relationships, business development, internal team building, margin and revenue growth, and delivery of quality estimates and projects in a safe and timely with the highest level of customer satisfaction.

This individual will be a critical leader in the strategic planning and direction of the company. This role will lead a team of professionals and will serve as a key member of the Company’s Executive Leadership Team.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Demonstrated ability to provide organizational leadership to achieve corporate goals
  • Ability to cultivate strong relationships with clients, peers, and Associates throughout the organization
  • Proven track record for successfully managing all facets of preconstruction, construction and business development
  • Coach and develop successful teams
  • Extensive industry knowledge and demonstrated technical acumen
  • Expertise in prioritizing between competing issues, project needs, business needs, organizational issues, and client relations while making judgements using sound insight and wisdom
  • Expertise in all aspects of construction activities including proposals, negotiating, bidding, estimating, contracting, scheduling, job-costing, construction management, and problem solving.
  • Willing to work hard with frequent long hours

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 10+ years of experience as an EVP or Vice President in the Construction industry overseeing all construction operations.
  • Commercial Construction experience is required
  • Wood framed construction experience is preferred
  • Senior Living, Assisted Living, Multi-family, or Single-Family project experience is strongly preferred

Additional Information

Competitive salary, benefits, and financial incentives are offered. Work will include up to 20% travel.
